Montenegro is my second country now, since I lived there. But how did you deal with the stray animals ? I guess maybe you have them too in Poland.. For peopel from the West, it's often horrible to be there in that amazing country and to see the poor animals dying next to the road all the time.

I've never been to Romania, I've been only to Varna (Bg) and if you consider them as a part of Balkans, I've also visited Zakynthos, Kos, Rhodes and Crete (Gr) and Slovenia.. Western Turkey too, I know, after Istanbul, I wouldn't consider it as Balkans anymore, but I think you can feel there that it used to be Greece : architecture, food,... well, whatever!! ^^ I wish I could visit more of Balkans, I'd like to see more of Bulgaria, not only the "megatouristic" Black seaside ^^ which country have you visited? which places have you liked the most? isn't it too hard to hitch-hike? I mean for example, I don't think it'd be very easy to hitch-hike through Belgium :-/ and do you speak Romanian? I mean you've ever had problems because you didn't understand people or things like that? and where do you usually sleep? youth hostel? with locals? in a tent?
you can reply me in private message if you want by the way ;)
