Hi!
Generally, the foreigner is treated better than the Brazilian citizen himself.

Hi! Last Saturday, April 30th, some refugees from Ukraine arrived in the city of Belo Horizonte (where I live). We - here in Brazil - are saying: Have a good life Ukraine!!!

This morning I did a little research on learning Ukrainian, but I already have books on learning Russian so I decided to try again. My mistake was to start with a child’s book on the alphabet and using pictures with words in Cyrillic. The book I am now reading begins with basic grammar and common expressions. My grandparents were from Russia.

You are very kind. I have read that people are withdrawing from using the Russian language to speaking Ukrainian. Is this true?

How can I help you learn English? I once learned the Russian alphabet and was studying childrens’ books, so I have an idea of the language barriers we face. I know a few words.. Winter is Zima (3nma). From childhood, my father would say babooshka (ba6ywka) for my grandmother. I always thought he was referring to her kerchief.
